Aunt Laura's Oriental Chicken Salad

Serves: 3-4
- Salad:
- ¼ cup sesame seeds
- ¾ cup slivered almonds
- 1 pkg. Oriental flavor Ramen noodles
- 6 cups chopped lettuce (I prefer romaine!)
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 cups shredded, cooked chicken
- Dressing:
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup white vinegar
- ¼ cup sugar
- flavor packet from Ramen noodles
- Combine dressing ingredients in a small bowl.
- Add crushed, uncooked, ramen noodles and shredded chicken to dressing. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Toss together salad (lettuce, onions, almonds, sesame seeds). Just before serving, add chicken/dressing mix and toss.
- Other ingredients that I love to add are: mandarin oranges and wonton chips.
