Let's Flash back to 5 years ago...I had just recently started dating my now husband. We ended up taking an adventure over to our local Sur La Table.  I believe they had a free knife sharpening event going on, so I convinced Bob to go with me.  As you can imagine, me in a cooking store is like a kid in a candy store.  There were so many kitchen gadgets I wanted to get.  Bob was making me laugh trying on all the aprons and oven mitts.  Some of my favorite memories are from this date.

A few years ago, I made this cake for a friends birthday.  She was a huge fan of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, so I thought this would be the perfect recipe for her.  She absolutely loved it!  If you are a fan of chocolate and peanut butter, then you will definitely be a fan of this cake!

This week, my neighbor gave me several Meyer Lemons from his friends tree.  I was super excited to make some new "sweet" recipes with these lemons.  This was the first lemon recipe that I made with them.  It was super delicious and had tons of flavor!  I dusted with powdered sugar for the picture, but it also tastes great with a powdered sugar glaze.  This was recipe was adapted from Alaska from Scratch.
