I can’t believe it’s almost the end of the year/decade?!? Where does the time go? Each year seems to fly by faster than the last.
One of my goals this year was to get back into posting new content for all of you! And I’m so excited that for the last two months I have accomplished that personal goal. Check out my welcome back post HERE!
I would love to hear what recipes you would like to see in the New Year!
Who knew 5 years ago I would post a stuffed shell recipe that would go viral and be a big hit with everyone. Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Stuffed Shells. You have to read the story of how I made it for my husband on our 2nd date. He absolutely loved the dish.
Since it has been a huge hit, I thought I would recreate a stuffed shell recipe with a different spin. Chicken Corden Blu Stuffed Shells. Taking all the flavors of Chicken Cordon Blu and putting into a stuffed shell – Shredded Chicken + Clifty Farm Country Ham + lots of cheese = DELICIOUSNESS!
When I was thinking of what dinner recipe I could make with country ham, I immediately knew I wanted to make stuffed shells.
This is a sponsored post for Clifty Farm, but all opinions are 100% my own.
This particular recipe I used Clifty Farm Seasoning Pieces.
The company is a family run business and they are now on their fourth generation of curing hams. The curing process, which is a secret recipe, produces a delicate flavor of a Real Hickory Smoked Country Ham.
Their products are available in retail locations across the Southeast U.S.
Be sure to look for Clifty Farm in your favorite grocery store. If they do not have Clifty Farm products, ask your store manager to carry Clifty Farm Country Ham and Clifty Farm Barbecue.
If you don’t live near a store that carries our products, you can purchase their high-quality Country Hams on this website.

Tips:
- The night before, I sauteed diced up Clifty Farm Seasoning Pieces and fully cooked. Time saver!
- Pre-boil your shells for 1 -2 minutes less than the time it states to cook on the box. Run under cool water to stop the cooking process before stuffing the shells.
- Whenever I need shredded chicken for a recipe, I place chicken breasts into my Slow-Cooker with a 1 cup of water or chicken broth. I cook on high for 3-4 hours. Once cooked, I take two forks and shred chicken directly in crockpot. I usually do this the night before – keep shredded chicken in a sealed container in fridge with a few tablespoons of the liquid from crockpot.

- 2 cup Swiss Cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) Cream of Chicken Soup
- ½ cup - ¾ cup milk
- Salt / Pepper to taste
- Cordon Bleu Sauce
- 4 TBSP butter
- 4 TBSP flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup White American Cheese or Swiss Cheese, shredded
- 1 TBSP Cayenne - optional
- ½ tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- salt / pepper to taste
- Topping
- ¼ cup butter crackers, crushed (I used Ritz)
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 2 TBSP dried parsley
- Pre-cook jumbo shells 1-2 minutes less than time listed on package. Run under cool water to stop the cooking process. The shells will continue to cook when baked in oven.
- In a large bowl, mix can of Cream of Chicken soup, shredded cooked chicken, country ham, 2 cup Swiss Cheese, and ½ cup of milk. If mixture is still thick, you can add additional milk to thin out. Add salt/pepper to taste.
- Spoon mixture into jumbo shells.
- To make sauce, place butter in a large skillet over medium heat. When butter has melted, whisk in flour and continue to cook for about a minute.
- Add milk and whisk constantly until well blended.
- Add Cayenne seasoning and Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring often.
- Add shredded cheese and continue to stir until fully melted. Add salt / pepper to taste. If sauce is too thick, you can add additional milk to thin out.
- Grease 13x9 pan - arrange stuffed shells into pan. Pour sauce over shells.
- In a small bowl, mix topping ingredients: dried parsley, Parmesan cheese, and crushed butter crackers. Top shells with topping ingredients.
- Bake in oven for 30 - 35 minutes.
