Buffalo Chicken Dip

Feb. 11, 2014

Buffalo Chicken Dip - www.SweetDashofSass.com

I made this appetizer for Super Bowl last week for the first time.  My husband is a huge fan of Buffalo Wings and Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, so I thought this would be the perfect appetizer with some celery!  This dip was super easy to prep.  You can make in advance and let sit until you are ready to bake.  It was definitely the popular favorite that night out of all the appetizers made.  Of course, Bob was excited to even have leftovers the next day.   This is definitely the perfect appetizer for a party or get together!

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 lb. chicken breast, cooked and shredded (roughly 3 chicken breasts)
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temp
  • 1 cup Frank’s RedHot Sauce
  • ¾ cup ranch salad dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, hot sauce, ranch dressing and cheese.
  3. Mix until combined. Stir in cooked chicken.
  4. Pour mixture into an oven proof dish, which a pie pan would work great.
  5. Bake 40-45 minutes, until bubbly. Stir mixture halfway through baking.
