Red Velvet Oreo Magic Bars

If you are a fan of red velvet, brownies, and Oreo’s – this super easy cookie bar recipe is for you. Plus, the red velvet color is perfect for the holiday season.

Last year, I happened to make Red Velvet Cheesecake Cookies which were amazing — scratch that, insanely good. They were a little time consuming to make, but the end result was totally worth it. Red Velvet Oreo Magic Bars

Serves: 12-16

Ingredients

1 box red velvet cake mix
½ cup oil
2 eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
15 Oreos, coarsely crushed
About 20-25 Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped (I used the Hugs version in my batch)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13 x 9 baking pan with parchment paper or foil. If using foil, spray lightly with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix powder, oil, eggs, and vanilla until blended. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and immediately top with crushed Oreos and unwrapped Hershey’s Kisses in an even layer.
Drizzle with sweetened condensed milk. Return pan back to oven and continue to bake 10-15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
Allow bars to come to room temperature before cutting into bars. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature. These will last 1-2 weeks.
