As most of you know, I'm half Persian. This is my favorite Persian cookie. I would find them on occasion at the Persian Market around Persian New Year time. Never attempted to make them on my own. I was looking thru other fellow bloggers pages and came across a recipe for it on The Pomegranate Diaries. I can't even explain to you how excited I was to see a recipe for it. You can't get an easier recipe than this one! 3 ingredients... A perfect combination of salt / sweet! Several years ago, I had a get together at my house and decided to make these for my friends. They were a hit and the bowl was instantly empty. They are a perfect addition to any cookie platter!

Day 17 : 25 Days of Christmas, Cookie Style
Last week, I was browsing through other fellow bloggers pages to get some new cookie inspirations. I ended up coming across this one from GeekyCooker. I think because it was unique and that I had all the ingredients that I love, especially cherries. This cookie is soft and chewy, yet the Wheaties cereal gives it a nice crunch on the outside. I absolutely loved them! Definitely going in my recipe box. My husband devoured these too.

Day 16 : 25 Days of Christmas, Cookie Style
A few years ago, my mom made Oreo Truffles and they were absolutely amazing. I was debating if I should make those or something different. Out of the ones this week, I would say my favorite was the Vanilla Waffle Cookies, followed by the Peanut Butter Corn Flake Treats as a close 2nd.
