Pumpkin Layer Delight

Pumpkin Layer Delight

I am a huge fan of Fall.  Who isn't?  The weather, leaves changing, apple cider, pumpkin pie, well anything pumpkin really... Since many of you on the East Coast are experiencing freezing cold temperatures and snow storms, you either are missing Fall or looking forward to Spring. So, you are probably wondering why I have Fall on my brain.  Well, you know those Pinterest emails you might get that recommend pins or boards for you to check out.  I recently received one this week and as I

Pumpkin Chili

I love Pumpkin! So far, I have made Pumpkin pie, Pumpkin-Banana Muffins, Apple-Bacon Pumpkin Soup...and I thought how about some Pumpkin Chili!  I'm a big fan of chili, especially on a Fall Sunday afternoon.  This was a perfect meal to sit back and enjoy while watching NFL.  Don't forget to make some corn bread muffins or biscuits to enjoy with it! Apple-Bacon Pumpkin Soup

There are so many reasons I love the Fall season.  Not only because of the weather and all the leaves changing colors, but also because of all the yummy food.  Apple cider, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Roll.....the list could go on. I've never had Pumpkin Soup before, but thought I would take the recipe one step further by adding apple and bacon.  Man, oh man, the apple and bacon is just the "Dash of Sass" that made this recipe over the top and delicious.  I added extra bacon/apple to my bowl!

Pumpkin-Banana Streusel Muffins

I happened to have 2 ripe bananas on hand and wanted to make something other than the usual Banana Bread!  Since it's Fall and with having canned pumpkin on hand, I thought this would be a perfect combination recipe wise.  Very tasty - my husband said it's very fragrant (in a good way). Pumpkin Poke Cake

This dessert is insanely delicious!!!  One bite and you will wonder where this recipe has been your whole life!  Or at least that is what I thought (and maybe my husband)...haha.  If you are a fan of pumpkin pie or pumpkin cake - you will love this dessert.  And surprisingly, it's even somewhat "healthy"  as far as a dessert can go.  No oil, butter, or egg within the cake portion!  This cake tastes even better the day after made.
